MTB Membership

Lourensford's trails, ramps and pump track, ridden by members only. This is a small, deliberately limited membership — a hundred places, a shared set of rules, and a farm that keeps working around us while we ride.

The app is not optional

No app, no ride. The tracking app is a free download and it is required on every single ride, without exception.

  • QR in on arrival to activate the tracker.
  • QR out at Base Camp when you finish.
  • All rides are booked online, by the member. You can book guests in or send them a booking link.
  • No walk-ins. No day passes.

The tracker is a safety system, not an attendance register. It is how we know someone is still out on the mountain.

Ride in pairs, stay on the route

Groups of two or more, always. A maximum of 100 riders per slot. Single file on the tar roads, normal traffic rules apply, and gates get closed behind you.

The red zone is a working farming area and there is zero tolerance here — not for rogue riding, not for late returns, and not for leaving the authorised trails. Routes from previous years have been closed and are closed for good reasons. Stay on the marked routes.

Fines

These are enforced, and they are steep on purpose — each one exists because of a safety incident, not an administrative preference.
